75th Anniversary Celebration Activities
Elderly Carers Forum
With a "family-centric" perspective, Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (HKFWS) is committed to delivering quality and professional social services to enhance the wellbeing of families and individuals in Hong Kong and foster a caring community. Due to population aging and declining birth rates, there will be a heavy burden on carers if they lack support. To raise awareness of the well-being of carers and strengthen support for them, HKFWS has launched the "Elderly Carers Support Project” in 2023. They call on all sectors of society to work together to build a carers-friendly society and have a greater impact through collaboration. For more information, you can visit the project website at https://carer-support.hkfws.org.hk/.
To raise awareness and gain support from various stakeholders for the elderly carers, Hong Kong Family Welfare Society will be organizing the "Elderly Carers Forum 2024" in December 2024. The forum aims to invite stakeholders from different sectors to share their experiences in supporting the elderly carers and collectively brainstorm ideas on how to promote community support.
Details of the event will be announced later.
