HKFWS 75th Anniversary Cocktail Reception
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (HKFWS). To celebrate this significant milestone, the Society held a 75th Anniversary Cocktail Reception on 3 September 2024 (Tuesday) at the Hong Kong Club. Over 200 guests from the political, business, and philanthropic sectors, as well as corporate partners and institutional representatives, were invited to witness this important milestone together and to spend an unforgettable evening.
We were honoured to have The Hon. Chan Kwok-ki, GBS, IDSM, JP, the Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, personally attended as the guest of honour to deliver a speech. He then joined Dr. Eric Li Ka-cheung, GBS, OBE, JP, President of HKFWS, Mr. Christopher Law, JP, Chairman of HKFWS Executive Committee, Mr. Chen ZiMing, representative of The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, along with other distinguished members of officiating party, jointly presided over the celebratory ceremony.
The Cocktail Reception is the highlight of a series of celebratory events planned by the Society this year. Apart from allowing guests to witness the growth and progress of the Society over the past 75 years, it also serves as a platform for interaction and exchange, providing an opportunity for guests to share ideas, build connections, and collectively promote the development and progress of the social welfare sector in Hong Kong.
