The “HKFWS Family Sports Day”, co-organised by HKFWS and the Jockey Club SMART Family‐Link Project, was successfully held on 29 June (Sunday), bringing over 450 family members of kindergarten and primary school students from 10 of our service centres. Everyone came together for a delightful day of sports and family fun!
This year, HKFWS launched a three-year “Run for Family Health” campaign, aiming to promote the concept of “Healthy Family” as a shared social value, and to nurture a culture of family wellbeing in the community.
Thanks to the generous support of the Jockey Club SMART Family‐Link Project, the assistance of volunteers from BNP Paribas, CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd Volunteer Team and our community volunteers, the Sports Day marked the first major parent-child event under the campaign. Through a variety of engaging and tech-infused family activities, the event raised public awareness of physical and mental health, thereby enhancing family wellbeing. Highlights included emerging sports experiences, VR sports, parent-child physical fitness activities, and children’s game booths, allowing participants to sweat it out together and showcase their vibrant energy!
