HKFWS Volunteer Recognition Ceremony 2025 - Volunteering Paints Life
HKFWS held its "Volunteer Recognition Ceremony 2025" on 7 Jun (Saturday), inviting approximately 280 individual volunteers from different service units and corporate volunteers to receive certificates of appreciation at the event, reflecting on their volunteer service achievements of the past year.
This year's ceremony was themed "Volunteering Paints Life", with Mr. Elton Ng Chun Ting, the worthy winner of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2018, as our officiating guest. Ms. Kitty Chau, Chief Executive of HKFWS expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers for their tireless efforts in community service, caring for the underprivileged, and promoting family wellbeing in her opening remarks.
Over the past year, more than 2,300 volunteers participated in HKFWS’ volunteering services, accumulating over 9,000 service hours. She also extended her appreciation to over 40 corporate partners for their generous donations, which benefited up to 7,000 service users. Ms. Chau also highlighted that in the coming year, HKFWS will launch new volunteer services targeting employees who are about to retire, encouraging more people to join our volunteer network and work together to promote family wellbeing.
