The Society’s "Home Sweet Home” ice-cream truck will be giving out free ice cream in our city on two consecutive Sundays in June as part of the anniversary celebrations. This event aims to provide a moment for public to enjoy ice-cream while sharing sweet moments with their families during the hot summer days.
The ice-cream truck is designed with the Society’s 75th anniversary theme - "Family is where Love is”and made its first appearance in Causeway Bay on June 16th, coinciding with Father's Day. We are thrilled to have renowned artist Grace Chan and her family to attend the event and giveaway ice-cream hand-in-hand with HKFWS’s staff, together we created quality family time and precious unforgettable moments for the public on this special day! The ice-cream truck then shown up once again on 23 June in Mong Kok.
"My daily work is hectic, but I have always remembered to revote time to be with my family. I am glad to be able to bring my son to participate in this ice-cream giveaway event and share the message and importance of family wellbeing with the public." said Grace Chan.
The 24th Peer Mediation Project Accreditation Ceremony
The 24th Peer Mediation Project Accreditation Ceremony was held on 5 July (Saturday), bringing together approximately 300 peer mediators, peer mediation alumnus, and school representatives to commend participating schools and peer mediators who successfully completed the training!
