Clinical Psychologist2021-01-28

We are a well established non-governmental organisation providing various welfare services. With a family-centric perspective, we are committed to delivering quality and professional social services to enhance the wellbeing of families and individuals in Hong Kong and foster a caring community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and individual / group psychological treatment to children and adolescents with special educational or mental health needs in our Foster Care Service.
  • Provide training and support for foster parents in management of behavioral and emotional problems of children.
  • Provide case consultations, support and training to social workers.
  • Deliver psycho-educational talks / workshops to children, adolescents, families and schools.
  • Work location in Tuen Mun and Kwai Chung.

 

Requirements:

  • Master degree in Clinical Psychology with placement trainings in child and adolescent work.
  • Eligible to register in the Division of Clinical Psychology in The Hong Kong Psychological Society and Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists.
  • Familiar with local children psychological assessment tools.

  • To render stationing service for kindergartens.
  • Having a strong demonstrated passion in working with families and children.

Registered Social Worker (Family@Nature)2021-01-28

To launch 3-year nature-based family Intervention programme to enhance family wellness with a focus on improving the well-being of family carers.  Series of community education programmes, experiential and interactive-oriented, mindfulness family programmes will be delivered with an objective to build and strengthen stress management and problem-solving capacity of carers.

  • Oversee and monitor the service project, including service output and outcome performance, quality control, risk management and administrative duties.
  • Plan and implement the community-based intervention programmes, need to work closely with community partners and internal service units.
  • Engage academic researcher(s) to conduct a study to examine the effectiveness of the intervention model.
  • Centre-based work, including but not limited to, Tai Po district.
  • Require flexible working hours (evening and weekend duty required).
  • Degree in Social Work, with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in family service.
  • With experience in organizing service project, mental wellness groups / programmes and mindful activities is advantage.

  • A territory-wide project to promote and prepare advance care planning of different aspects through casework, late life wishes, community education and outreaching efforts.
  • Coordinate project; work with families and professionals in advance care planning cases; handling applications on late life wishes; organize educational, publicity, volunteer programs; community networking; develop educational materials.
  • Degree in Social Work, with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience in social work.
  • Experience or training in advance care planning / End-of-life is an advantage.

  • 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (Syl. B), Chinese Language and Mathematics OR 5 subjects obtained Level 2 or above in HKDSE, including English, Chinese and Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing, knowledge of video production and graphic design is an advantage

Registered Social Worker (Promoting Family Resilience Project)2021-01-21

A 3-year project for adopting a strength-based approach and focuses on building positive beliefs, enhancing flexibility and connectedness, and promoting open emotional communication and collaborative problem-solving among family members, especially in trying times during coronavirus.  It is also to deliver experiential groups and programmes to families with youth by using the community-based professional intervention programmes. 

  • To provides services to families facing different levels of adversity and vulnerabilities.
  • Responsible to conduct evidence-based evaluation studies to examine the effectiveness of the programmes.
  • Responsible for start off of project, collaboration with NGOs and University.
  • Degree in Social Work, with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience in social work.
  • Experience in working with youth and parents and their families as an advantage.
