Trajectory Development Supervisor (Project Manager)
Initiated and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, this foster care project (“Track Two”) aims to support children and youth (C&Y) in Ordinary Foster Care placements, along with foster families and biological families. The initiative focuses on strengthening families, enhancing developmental trajectories, and engaging communities through interventions to fill critical service gaps and drive systemic improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Senior Manager, the job-holder will be responsible for the project operation and service development.
- Manage project operations to ensure smooth implementation of services.
- Facilitate initiatives that develop services to meet the evolving needs of foster children, youth, and families.
- Support the implementation of project standards for outputs and outcomes, ensuring that goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor service delivery quality to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Provide staff supervision and team support to maintain high performance and engagement.
Requirements:
- Registered Social Worker with a degree in Social Work and at least 5 years of post-graduate solid experience.
- Management or supervisory experience in project management, as well as in handling crisis cases and complex situations.
- Good understanding of the mission, objectives, and intervention strategy of the project within the context of foster care services is highly valued
- Strong commitment to promoting children’s and youths’ personal agency.
- Mature, adaptable, and positive attitude toward change, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
