Foster Care Service

What are the requirements for being foster parents?

The most important qualities are fondness for children, experience and ability in child care to provide proper care arrangements, attitude and skills in educating and nurturing children. Beyond that, the ideal foster parents should have  attained primary education or above, and should undergo detailed assessment which includes but not limit to health condition, personality, family relationship, financial condition and safety of the living environment etc.

The applicant must discuss with their family in advance and be ready to accept social worker's investigation and guidance. Persons who do not fully meet the above conditions are welcome to contact us for consideration on individual case.
